WebP2PNG is a free, privacy-first image conversion tool. We built it because we were tired of websites that claim to be "free" but upload your files to sketchy servers and slap watermarks on everything.
Our core belief: converting a file format should be instant, private, and free. Your files belong to you — not to some server in a data center.
Every conversion happens in your browser using the Canvas API. Nothing is uploaded. Nothing is tracked. You can disconnect from the internet and the tool still works. Our core conversion code is open source — you don't have to take our word for it, you can verify it yourself on GitHub.
WebP2PNG is an independent project built and maintained by a small team of developers who care about online privacy. We're not a corporation, not VC-funded, and not mining your data.
